Von Option File (V2.04 NOW ONLINE - 2009/10 Season Update)

do i need to download update 7 aswell? or does update 8 cover for it? i am asking this because update 7 is listed as beta

You need to go to 'download' in System Settings, after downloading you will then be able to use the option file..

Thanks very much, that done the job.....

Maybe others are having the same problem.. I had version 1.2 but still wouldn't work until i downloaded another update from the in game menu.

Then i could load the option file and all is now well. And its very good.

There's a post somewhere which I first read when I first found the OF and it explains everything perfectly well, I think that should be put on the first page so there's clear instructions for everyone.

Just think of the mayhem there's gonna be when the new KONAMI update comes out:/

ok heres some problems i encountered and how it was solved -

after copying all files to ps3 on loading game i got the error " Load failed because data is from a different version. Download content and update data" -
To solve this you need to carry on loading pes2009 , on the in-game menu go down to system settings , then Download. This will tell you there is a new download available . After it has downloaded:

* Install download
* The system will then prompt you to save to your settings, select NO.
* Then exit to the main menu and select Edit>Load

Job done - up and running now.

My other problem was no mp3 files in mp3 library after following the instructions to add the chants.
Simple solution , I had a space after KONAMI_PES when I named the playlist.
Double check that you have no spaces before or after and that its spell't right and in capitals.

I found these solutions from searching through this thread, but thought it might be worth adding again at the end here for those that seem to have difficulty with the search button

maybe if you pointed people in the right direction they'd find their solution a lot quicker rather than smart ass remarks that are in turn cluttering up the thread you are so desperate to keep clean.

Is there another way to use this 2.0 option file without download the update content from Konami?

Coz, since 1.30 version, we should install and download the original content from internet direct thru our ps3 right?

Coz, im having problem downloading the konami's, first it didnt describe or info about the size of files being download, second... when its interupt, i should start downloading from 0% again??? pls any one can give some advice or is there any url i can download this konami's content ...
