May sound like a stupid suggestion, but several people have missed this...

When in Game/Save Data Utility on the XMB, you can see your USB drive. Press X to display the images/edit data file. Then Triangle on each individual file to copy to your HDD.

thx 4 the suggestion. but i still cant see any files under my usb under the SAVE DATA Utility

I can only see them under photos/videos/music

hello. i hd downloaded the recent file but as it says download the top links if you havnt got any of the other files, and to download the top links i should get the whole package.... i tried out the option file but the boots do not show up,, why is that?

Great file, mate. Thanks for all the time and effort you've put in. It is much appreciated.

I had no problems what-so-ever patching the game with 1.04 (full). Figured I'd mentionn that, seeing as so many seem to be experiencing problems.

The only area the file falls a little short, that I've noticed, is the Bolton away kit. Maybe the Chelsea GK kit, too, but I could very well be mistaken with regards to the shade of colour.

Overall it's fantastic. Well done. And cheers, again.

Hey Muffmeister! 2 things that I have noticed that needs updating for the next v1.05;

1. Fabio (Man Utd) is put as a right back instead of a left back which he should be, Konami fools! The same goes for Cleverley (I think).

2. Berbatov and Manucho are much more faster than that in real life especially Berbatov, can you tweak their stats slightly?

The Muff, let me start off by saying how much i love this patch, good job!!!

i wanted to ask you a question.. have you, or are you thinking about correcting some of the players' possitions? i'm portuguese so, concerning FC Porto, Sporting Lisbon and Benfica, i noticed Konami made a few mistakes (for instance, FC Porto's #25 Fernando, is not considered the defensive midfielder that he is). I'm not talking about changing the palyers' atributes, just the positions.

and another thing. Werder Bremen's first kit is way too light. The green needs to be a little "greener"
and i don't know about you, but i don't tend to like the names and numbers on the shirts being in the same colour as their outline. Werder Bremen has that the numbers get way too thick. are you thinking about changing that?

I'm not too 'in touch' with Portuguese football but if you're willing to point out who's position needs changing, I'll happily correct them

Hey Muff, I was wondering that since you've updates some kits over the course of your updates, is it neccessary to delete the ones that are no longer in use or does it not have any effect? For exaple I remember you tweeked the Aston Villa kit a bit, and Everton I think?

It's not necessary, no. If I include a kit that prompts you to overwrite something then click yes. If not, it doesn't affect anything

Ive downloaded every patch so far and i must say wow !
Its amazing work you have done.
But i have downloaded the new 1.04 and when i put it into the game it wont load any of the patch for me :S
Please can someone give me a step by step guide plz when i have put the data into the game it say somthing liek the data is not compatible :S

You need to get Konami's 1.20 patch

i downloade a 41mb update yesterday and the only new thing is that there are 2 new boots
3 questions
1. has anyone downloaded it asweel
2 and do you have any other new things e.g. 3rd liverpool kits
3. iknow this is the rong thread but i wuz wonderin if anyone hu has downlaoded this option file has the same problem

and btw i have installed it and everything

You need to go to settings and 'Download'

does this OF work with North american PES09?

Kind of. I think you can use the kits but not the edit data. Not entirely sure though

You need the Konami 1.20 update

Installed the option file there now correctly and it says...
"LOAD FAILED BECAUSE DATA IS FROM A DIFFERENT VERSION. DOWNLOAD CONTENT AND UPDATE DATA" ?

why would we create another PS3 folder, when the URL provided gives us both PS3 folder and SAVEDATA folders? i dont get it!!

You don't create another folder. You just put the PS3 folder and the MUSIC folder straight onto your flashdrive

Great file- many thanks for the hard work.

Only error I have noticed is that when starting a master league, the leagues are wrongly named. The English one contains Italian teams etc.

Just wanted to point that out so the file can be improved.

You can't control which teams go into which leagues. It's easy enough to re-arrange them

Did someone have a problem with mp3's ? I created the playlist and I called it "KONAMI_PES" like you explain to do but in the game, I can't found the playlist and so i can't add the chants to England...

Did I make something wrong ? Anyone can help ? Thanks a lot.

I followed each of your steps so its annoying its not working, any ideas why not?

Absolutely ridiculous that hidden players can't be registered to national teams, Konami's random stupidity never ceases to amaze me. In light of this, Muff, wouldn't it be better to forget about unlocking players altogether and go with created players instead? The 160 slots should be more than enough for now.

I would consider if I hadn't already deleted 50 odd players I'd created :/

@Muff: For your next update you should perhaps do something about Stoke and Wigan home kits. I know it's probably difficult to get them 100% because of missing templates, but a couple of other OF makers have come pretty close. Bolton away is still in desperate need of a remake.

I've been meaning to do Bolton's for ages, just need to get some time and sit down and do it properly and test it etc. I'll check the other kits

i read it and after trying all ways i cant quiet figure out what is the prefferd option by everyone who playes the game

I use Semi assisted for the reasons that were already stated (auto switch for passing etc)

I have konami update 1.2 i started the game it says do u want to update so i did. Thats konami update 1.20.

then I put all ur files and tried even deleting the system files. i start the game, edit data refuses to load. i used 1.04.

i tried removing the edit data and system data and then moving them again. same error. "update blah blah"

any ideas?

I have no idea what's going on here. First time I've heard it. If you have 1.20 and my 1.04, it should work fine :/

I think the Chelsea shirt is a TV colour thing. Looks good on mine (standard 32" HD) but I can see how it could look probably a bit different because of how vibrant the colour, the slightest difference in TV contrast could make it look a bit off

Hadn't noticed the Fabio mistake. Will fix it. Dunno about the stat messing though, gotta keep the masses happy :/

You are the best. My papa who is still playing 08 was coming over and i needed a option file to make the game look its best to convince him pes 09 is great. I took a gamble 15 mins before he arrived to download this option then i realised the file copying involved and the possible problem with version error. It was a case of this OF was crap and the game would look bad or The game would look 100%

All i can say is you made my night and this OF was top quality and was what i was looking for exactly. I actually think my papa is going to get it now.


And for poll reasons or whatever i had the version problem but i followed Tingregs steps on page 75 and it worked perfectly.
