Ok, so are you using the latest version of Swap Magic or are you using an older version? Which parts of this patch did you apply exactly? I've been hearing that lots of people are having problems with the latest World Cup 2006 update for this patch.

I can't see why this patch can't boot up with Swap Magic. I mean, as long as it doesn't change the size of the TOC of the PES5 DVD then it really shouldn't have any problems booting up. But then again, I haven't tried it myself yet. So does the WEmerica v2 patch definitely work with Swap...

I haven't downloaded this patch yet but I'm seriously thinking about it. Especially after the introduction of the real teams, players and stadium names included in the patch on the DVD (and not as an option file). I have one question though; Has anyone managed to get this patch to work...

Zyglaski's got a point. Most PS2s can't read DVD-RW or DVD+RW. And some can't even read DVD+R. So the "patching and burning onto a DVD-RW just to check if the patch you just applied works" idea is a non starter. At least it is for me anyway. My PS2 can't even read DVD+R. :(

What I was getting at was the part of the curve where it says "accelerated growth" is the most important. This is where you can determine how far upwards their curve goes. And thus, you can control the player's potential and a lot of the time, make the player better than his curve would suggest...

I've added Harewood, Robinho, Kaiser, Rachmane Barry and Clichy. The highest curve aren't necessarily the best. There are some players who have curves which touch the 85 area but they're stats are out of this world. And this is usually down to sharp growth curves ie. you see the curve going...

It would sound silly but I just think that if it comes to that Konami will probably remove that particular sound clip. You know, just to give a bit of credibility to the name.
