I love the M16's iron sight! I could quite happily use that along with another attachment.

Got a 24-2 earlier, I was well smug about it.

This was followed by a game in which I went 10-7-10. Fucking assists. Oh yeah every single one of those deaths was via grenade launcher. I kid you not.

There were about 4 people using nothing but the n00b tube, it was utterly ridiculous.

Im getting quite sick of online now, for a number of reasons:

1) These noobs online who run around with grenade launcher, and when they see me, I get blown to smithereens. Its so annoying and stupid.

2) Me getting slaughtered every game I play isn't fun for me at all. Every match I play, I always seem to end up with at least 5 more deaths than kills, therefore making my K/D ratio pathetic.

3) Campers!

I've noticed I'm still playing FIFA loads, and end up choosing that rather than this.

So if you want to get your K/D ratios up, you know whose game to join (if you have me in your friends list)

I love the grenade launcher. So much that I have the thumper as my secondary weapon. At the start of the game I just use them all at once. As they are slow for reloading and no use for quite close combat as bullets would will get you quicker.

Yeah i suppose i'm with you Hunter it just takes getting used too.

Berry your probably doing bad due to the way you go about the matches try staying back and not rushing into combat pick a nice area for cover and try different guns.

I've had a few games with Skullverine and Pomp. Pomp is pretty good, better than me

Yeah, I've been in a pre-game lobby with 12 players, only to have only 4 by the time we start. Ends pretty much immediately.

I'm on a downward spiral lately. Nearly as bad as Joel.

A patch has been released to fix the 1887's so my fun is over.

Might have to learn to play the game proper now.

edit: They haven't so much "fixed" the 1887's as turned them into a sitting duck mode. 4 shots to kill someone with a lever action shotgun :faceplm:

Ugh, run and gunning was a right laugh. Not really the same with the Raffica or the under-powered SMGs.

Well that's pathetic, the only thing they needed to change with the 1887s was the range. They reached to far and were a little too accurate in comparison to other shotguns. Unfortunately, shotguns in the game are rather poorly designed. It is not impossible to hit someone with a shotgun at a range of thirty yards, as CoD would have you would.

Yeah, I hate how I need to shoot at least twice to kill with the 1887's now. I can no longer run in a room full of people and clean it out within seconds.

And yeah Andy, my downward spiral seems to not want to stop. I probably define inconsistency on this game. I am the Wigan of CoD.

It was quite amusing in the first few games I had before I clicked that the patch was for the 1887's. It felt as if I was constantly running behind people shouting "EXCUSE ME SIR, I HAVE SHOT YOU THREE TIMES NOW, PLEASE DIE"

I'm fucking glad. Do you lot realise how faggy you look running around with those things? You look like T-1000 on acid.

My K/D has slowly declined over the past fortnight, to a poor 1.96. However a good 4-5 hour stint last night got me back up to 2.00, with an impressive 33 for 3 being the highlight of the night.

Hopefully be able to get towards 2.10 if I have a good period over Xmas.

It's a 3 shot burst gun like the Famas, personally i prefer the Famas over it i'm sure some on here like the M16 more than the Famas.

The m-16 is just a more powerful Famas i think. I use the Famas now with the spas but I dont really like the 3 shot burst anymore, I keep gettin killed when 1 v 1

They have some clowns on capture the flag. The level is Estate, we're losing 3-2, about 30 seconds left on the clock, a team mate captures the flag, our base is opposite the big house, what does he do?

The clown runs INSIDE the house and all I can assume is that he hides, because he still has the flag, but his cursor stops moving. 'the fuck is that?!

EDIT: I thought that was bad, until I was on a team of people who kills opponents who have our flag, but they don't bother to put the extra bit of effort to stand by the flag for ONE second, so it returns to our base. Some CoD players could have really benefited by going to school.

Shoulda seen me last night. I easily picked up the bomb in sabotage between 10 and 20 times, each time asking for some help off my teammates. No-one helped. They all had their mics in, too. They'd rather camp and work up a good K/D ratio then actually play the game.

I said each time 'I have the bomb, someone come help me plant it'. Am I saying it wrong or something? :faceplm:

I planted it once. None of my team mates were around to make sure it stayed planted. God I love the majority of CoD players.

If you're playing Sabotage and you're not working as a team, its virtually impossible and its best not to even go near the bomb.

In most games you can easily win with a bit of teamwork, if you're attacking everyone throws their grenades and flashbangs at the same time, taking a "flank" each and killing off the defenders before planting. If you're defending just make sure you have most of the angles covered and can call for backup if you die. Unfortunately most of the time as you said its just glory hunters going for their own agenda and you end up doing pretty much the exact same.

Also, how annoying are tactical insertions? I've seen people using them to ridiculously good effect, basically putting one where a team is respawning and going about killing them with a silencer and Marathon, Lightweight and even if you kill the guy, hes back about 4 seconds later.

Just won Favela, a lad had the bomb i covered him he planted and he camped beside the bomb i took to the bottom of some stairs, it's was shagging a corspe, easy
