I agree about what you said about his club but thats the only thing I've agreed with in your thread that seems to go in circles. We get you don't like it you don't want others to buy it, who will make their own minds up and doubt it will be from this thread. So fella please give it a rest.
You're just ignorant. You're making the exact point i made in reverse. You can't make make arguments and then, when you're not happy that you've been proven wrong, fall back on the idea that u like it and that's all that matters. If that's how u feel why bother even defending the game to begin with?! Actually don't reply to this, go and play PES and exploit a load of glitches and bugs because that's all the game is. Or you could go through each post on this thread and see how many like the game and how many don't, which would probably be more enjoyable than PES 2012.
Every debate, argument and point of view is subjective. And i'm not attempting to wind anyone up.
For those of us still trying to debate the game's flaws/positives:
Today in an online game, I'm playing a guy who plays a through ball out wide. Knowing what's coming next I switch to my CB and prepare for the cross. I'm waiting on the cross for a good 3-4 seconds. The second the guy hits the cross (on the sprint; without a look; just pressing the "hit it to my guy" button), my cursor goes into an animation (without me pressing ANYTHING) where I turn around and look at the crowd and squat down....Meanwhile a striker comes on a frozen rope to the ball and diving header 1-0.
Later in that same game, the guy tries spamming a chipped through ball. This one happens to come directly to me, and I have a bit of time. As I'm waiting on the ball to land at my feet, my player (without me pressing ANYTHING), turns around and runs backward while looking behind at the ball....Naturally, his guy comes in stride on a rope to pick up the pass, and I have to mash a bunch of buttons to get my guy to respond and tackle.
There are tons of oddities just like this one, and a lot of them have been listed before...
When the entire engine is based on that, is that not gamebreaking to you??

Its gamebreaking that konami allowed online to be so assisted...you obviously are playing with someone who has full assists on. Which to me is the issue when online, it would be nice to see what controls a user has before playing them. I Would love to play some of you off this thread who dislike the game on completely manual except tackle (set to hard) I think you would enjoy the game.

Assisted passing should NEVER affect the other person/teams defending. That, to me is a broken system.
