Just made Snitsky and Knox a tag team: Snox :smug:
Day one releases for me.
Need a few more tag teams though. I stole the Machine Guns from TNA. Wish I stole LAX as well, but I can't now as they have gone global and have written contracts :(
I'll be going after MCMG in the not too distant future. I've got New Hart Foundation and the Briscoes in FCW, along with the Sound Brothers who are only 19/20. Might bring Paul London back to team with Kendrick.

No Way Out time!

You just gave me an idea. As I want to keep Kendrick as a heel (and single superstar, as he is my US champion), I think I'll bring back the team of London and Kidman.

Edit: By the way, I hate those damn Japanese tours. I hate having guys on open contracts!

I brought back London and Kendrick to feud with Edge and Christian as well as The Dudleys to feud with MNM. I wish I got Motor City Machine Guns :(

My roster's gradually getting better, with very little crap now. Just one or two who I'm unsure about like Kizarny and Dolph Ziggler.

Released/Fired: Hardcore Holly, Ricky Ortiz, Brie & Nikki Bella, Matt Capottelli, Victoria, Miss Angela, Tyson Tarver, Dusty Rhodes, Sim Snuka, Kung Fu Naki

Few notes to make: Orton came out at number 6 due to his Rumble victory. I 'simulated' the chamber using 2 matches, unfortunately I didn't notice that Mysterio was in very poor condition which damaged the rating of the first match. Matt Hardy turned heel, costing Jeff the title, which was something I'd planned before the real life heel turn. :faceplm:

Rey's losing heat because of his supposed weak gimmick (currently show stealer), any ideas what I could change it to?

I'd say dare devil or highlight reel. He'd probably work as an old school face as well.

I've got four weeks to build my rivalries so I can get the best out of matches for WrestleMania. Going to actually try and get to WrestleMania by tonight, but seeing as I get annoyed after just booking one show, that's unlikely.

I need to do what you are doing, Guillermo; Release wrestlers who aren't even fit to be jobbers. After WrestleMaina, the shit will hit the fan.

What I currently do is open the weekly shows with either title defences (Women's/U.S etc) to help it gain image, or push those who will eventually be in my main event scene. A couple of those who I don't have much use for (e.g. Kozlov) I've put in a tag team until I get better quality teams.

The only problem I see in the future is having too many over main eventers and not enough mid-carders. After WM I plan on having ECW go prime-time, and probably on a different network to Sci-Fi.

Think I'll book Austin/Hogan for Mania and get the worst match quality ever.

So here's the info Bill gave on the update, which will be released tomorrow evening at some point before the NFL starts, according to him.

1: The sponsors and TV Networks are totally overhauled (thanks to everyone that contributed to those projects)

2: IWRG is officially in the game now. I'm not going to pretend that they are "complete," but it's a good start, until we can get more of their workers added to the game... From the list I got, a lot seem to not even be in as of yet.

3: I've had some extra time and have been able to add some new workers to the game that have been requested. Not all of them as of yet, but more than normal. I'm pretty sure that I have added 10 workers already, bringing the total to 4592... That's if I don't sneak a few more in before I release the update. There are a couple that have been bouncing in my head for some time, but I just haven't pulled the trigger on... I'm pretty close to trying to sneak them in in time for February.

The Sponsors/Networks were really dated, so to see these finally being worked on is good. I'll probably end up starting my game from the update tomorrow.

The update sounds good. I'm four months into my game though, so I won't be using it just yet.

Guillermo, I do the same. I usually have title matches to open the shows. My title images are pretty respectful at the moment. Divas title still needs a lot of work though.

Chris Sabin (one half of my tag team champions), has picked up a calf injury and is out for 9 months! :( I'll have to vacate the tag titles now. I'll give Alex Shelley a nice singles push. May even turn him face and book matches between him and Kendrick for the US Title.

6 days before WrestleMania, WWE Champion Edge has checked himself into rehab, to sort out his concaine addiction. What a cunt. I don't even know what I'm going to do now. Plans were for him to drop the title to Jeff Hardy and then have a feud ender at Backlash in a ladder or TLC match, which Jeff would have won.

I need to find a heel replacement now. Damn you, Edge!

Just use Arsenic to have him back for Mania, as a situation like that in real life would never happen. :/

I've been pretty lucky on the injury front. Only had Burchill and Low Ki out, both for one month.

I'm going to start again. Get MCMG and maybe a few other steals from TNA. Should I keep ECW running or not? I plan on releasing quite a few people.

EDIT: Is it also possible to change what date you start at? I hate starting after January then have to fuck up the events just so I can do the Royal Rumble.

It's up to you. I've fired about 30 wrestlers, but I've still got plenty for all 3 brands.

To start on a different date change the system clock on your PC before creating a new game. Then you can change it back straight after.

I want to do a split game with someone, ideally, because I get bored too easily when having more than one weekly show.

EDIT: And I'm not a fan of stealing workers from other companies to help my show ratings either. It's each to his own, but I much prefer to work with what I would have in reality.

I've got the Royal Rumble coming up and here is how I am thinking of things to go. I've renamed ECW to just Xtreme. The real ECW died years ago.

WWE Divas Championship
Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Melina

WWE United States Championship
Jay Lethal vs. R-Truth (c) (This was suppose to be RVD vs AJ Styles for the Xtreme World Heavyweight but RVD is now injured so I am beginning to build this match up to replace)

WWE World Heavyweight (RAW)
Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho (c)

WWE World Heavyweight (SmackDown)
Booker T vs. Triple H (c)

Royal Rumble (Undecided)

So, someone has been kind enough to make a split update;

-Deleted the 2 smallest promotions, added WWE: SmackDown! (SD!) at Global 30 Image with $20M, and WWE: Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) at National 65 with $10M. Renamed World Wrestling Entertainment to WWE: RAW (RAW) and lowered it to Global 40 Image and $20M.
-A few small changes to Bill's data: added Edge to La Famiglia and made him the leader, changed Michelle McCool's gimmick from All-American to Arrogant, and made Christian Cage a Free Agent.
-Development Deal workers were split up mostly randomly. I tried to give all three promotions good workers with ECW getting a bit less. Low Ki and Tomko, maybe the two most popular guys, ended up on SD! and RAW respectively, so edit that if you need to. Also, DH Smith is on RAW while TJ Wilson and Natalya Neidhart are on SD!, so if you want to do a New Hart Foundation angle, edit that as well.
-All three promotions have the same PPV Events (i.e. RAW Royal Rumble, SmackDown! Royal Rumble, ECW Royal Rumble). If you want to change the names of whichever brand you use to the real-life names (Royal Rumble, No Way Out, WrestleMania, etc.) by taking off the brand name, you can do that in-game, as those names are open.
-As Miz and Morrison are on ECW but hold the RAW Tag Titles, I vacated those titles, and gave the two of 'em new ECW Tag Titles. Both sets are at the 64 Image mark where Bill had them.
-Steve Austin is on an open contract to RAW. If you want to be able to use him for an odd appearance as you please, you'll have to sign him to a written contract, as your competitor will probably sign him if you don't.
-The McMahon family are all on a written contract to RAW. If you aren't using RAW you may very well want to change that.
-Linda McMahon is the Owner of RAW, while the SD! and ECW Owners are Michael Hayes and Ed Koskie respectively, who are the Head Writers in real life.
-Staff was split up mostly randomly except on the rare chance they had an obvious brand affiliation. For the most part, I just went down the list clicking on names, setting them to RAW, SD!, ECW, RAW, SD!, ECW, etc.

I'd much rather grab talent from elsewhere than have to make do with Hornswoggle and The Boogeyman. :/ I'm trying to get an even balance between realism and fantasy.

Joel - I notice all your main card matches are 1v1. Whoring for a good rating? :shifty:

Good card Clyde Frog, I assume the bit in the brackets is number they were eliminated and who by?

Haha. I'm just a believer that 1v1 matches with no stipulations is the way to go, especially at WrestleMania.

I always use all my feud slots, and they take up the whole of the PPV cards, so there's no room for other matches.

At Backlash, they will be a fatal four way for the World Title though, as I am planning to have a draft after that PPV, so all fueds must end, and none can start until the draft is over.

Signed Sean Waltman earlier; X-Pac is back :smug:
