Nah nah, I dont think they even have that mode anymore. I just sorted the rosters and all that. Me and my two brothers take each brand and decide the draft that way. Quite sad, yet fun if your stuck indoors.

Ah ok. It won't be bad doing it with someone else, as you are doing, but alone it'd get boring fast. Smackdown games just do not have any longevity. None at all.

Do you mix them up yourself or is there something on the game that goes it?

Do it myself. Which is better, gives me more control and I don't want to end up with ridiculous brands.

You know what your draft moves are going to be?

Still don't really know why I get such mediocre ratings.

Anyway, the big news for my next PPV is the return of King Of The Ring. :cool:

1st round, 2nd round and quarter-final bouts are to be held in the weeks leading up to the pay per view.

I'm thinking of making the ECW TV Title too. But I'm not planning on renewing the deal with Sci-Fi when it finishes, so I'm still unsure.

Do you use feuds, Guillermo? I think you get higher ratings for developing the feuds and having matches that involves fueds at PPV.

Nice decision to bring back the King Of The Ring. Santino ftw? :p

I'm not with Sci-Fi anymore, I got a contract with The CW. And the show's getting me my best ratings. :lol:

I see what you mean about feuds. I've only had 2 or 3 going for each PPV, as for some matches the build-up isn't worth it. I hate trying to put non-wrestlers into feuds since hardly any of it is based on clean/cheap wins.

Santino's going out first round :p

Haha. Raw is always my best ratings. I'm having a slum in my Smackdown ratings recently. Think the last one was 5.99 - Didn't even get to 6.00 :| I blame Dwayne Johnson. He's so dropping the title at my next PPV (Judgement Day).

I like feuds because if you balance it out corretly, the guys get over more when it's done. I think Morrison is 97 on my game, because I've had him in major fueds. Though you don't have to be in a fued and just have 100 overness like Mickie James :|

Bad news for me is that Undertaker is on 28 morale. Don't know how to get him happy again. Maybe I should give Michelle McCool the Divas title.

I just tend to let them win a few pointless matches on the bounce (say, every show for 2 weeks). Seems to do the trick for me.

Both Randy Orton and Umaga have married previously unknown daughters of Linda McMahon. She gets around a lot. :huh:

I've only had Big Dave marry one of her unknown daughters so far. Bet he's still hitting every diva in the locker room.

A guy over at EWB has created a "fictional universe" for the game, and made it available for download. It isn't complete at the moment, but he's made it available now for people to test it and give feedback on it to make it better/as good as it can be for full release.

Here's the link for those that are willing to give it a try;

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R07UMCI4

And here's the write-up he gave for the game, and the feds that are in it;

Now, as for workers, TV Networks, TV Shows, Belts, and practically everything else except relationships (and maybe staff), this game is complete, although, i do suspect it is "broken" (Eg: its impossible to survive more than a couple of months as any promotion bar SWA.) and i need people to test this. As my current MSN list has barely anyone on it who actually has EWR, i decided to instead release it here prematurely, for testing purposes.

Now, instead of rambling on, i'll instead give you people a little rundown on each promotion itself.

SWA: The land of cartoonish characters and average wrestling at best. Only talkers and good lookers will make it here. (Think WWF prior to attitude era.) Size: Global
DWF: The company with the most attitude. DWF is looking to revolutionize wrestling as more than just a show for kids. Skill will get you far, but mic skills will get you further. (Think WWF/WCW Attitude era.) Size: National
EWA: The top place where the talented come to play. Mic skills? What are they? This is where talent outshines all. (Think Ring Of Honor, yet on a bigger scale). Size: National
EHR: If DWF is the place of attitude, this is the place where no one gives a shit! Hardcore wrestling and risque angles are all you'll see here! (Think Old ECW/CZW) Size: Regional
TOW: Almost like EWA's own farm territory, TOW is the place for the talented to make a name for themselves, before hopefully being picked up by a bigger promotion like EWA. (Think Ring Of Honor, yet on a smaller scale) Size: Regional.

I think this has potential to be really good, so if you're willing to help out, great.

Oh and by the way, here's a link to the March 2009 real-life Data, for those who don't have it already;

Sounds pretty good. Don't think I will use it though, as I only play one game at a time and this game I'm playing is the longest I've had.

Do any of you sign wrestlers to help rise the morale of wrestlers you have?

Also, I came across Zach Gowen in the other wrestlers section. Clicked on his profile and lol'd at it saying he is lazy in the ring.

Who are the Second City Saints?

I see that the majority of your PPV is one on one matches: Good lad :smug:

I'm coming upto my June PPV which I have named Hardcore Mayhem. It'll be based on One Night Stand in that everything is a gimmick match. I'll try and post up the results when I get to it.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

How is your game going, Baddar? Are you doing the Raw game, or the one that dude made up?

About to start a split game with guys from EWB.

The made up scenario game isn't nowhere near ready to play yet. It still needs work done on it.

I must say, I haven't had much time to start a game on EWR lately with the PS3 taking up my free time. I'm playing through Uncharted again, plus I have to complete Resistance 2.

Most people don't like Goldberg, particularly his run with the WWE, so I wanted to give him a second chance. In terms of pure power he impresses me far more than Batista and Lashley. Edge's Spear is frankly laughable in comparison. My other alternative was Lesnar but he's signed with TNA.

Probably CM Punk/Colt Cabana.
Yep. I've no idea if they've ever actually run with that name, but that's what EWR had them down as.

I'm surprised neither of you raged about Kennedy getting to the final. :lol:

It's more the fact that he took the title from Orton. He does indeed shit on Big Dave (wrestling wise, not pussy hunting wise :lol:) and Lashley. I didn't mind him, but thought he kind of acted like a baby, because he had to drop the title to Trips.

By the way, I've never understood why Edge's finisher is the Spear. It makes no sense, as he doesn't have that monster physique.

The important thing is that Kennedy jobbed in the end ;)
