bla bla bla fitness problems bla bla bla

Has anyone else started a manager mode since the new patch and noticed anything like this??

Mines totally the opposite :\

Im playing as Birmingham and before the update my players were getting ridiculously tired during the game, and for before the next game.

But with the update they have much better stamina, and my fitness coach is only on level 6 :/

Papa

Thank you for reading.
I played this game for the first time last night and it was better than I was expecting certainly, still prefer PES though. Something I noticed was how easy it is to chip the keeper! Ridiculously so.

Anyway I think the game will have fond memories for me even if I never play it again, as playing as Fulham against my mate who was Liverpool I won 4-0.

Safe to say after time with PES 10 and Fifa 10. Fifa has truly wiped the floor with Pro Evo this year. Its all about the long passing, new dimension, so amazing!

Whats up fuckers.

Got xbox live the other night, downloaded the fifa updates, got xbox live cos i wanted the new fifa patch that is coming out, also Perfect dark (best offline shooter ever made, fact) is coming out on xbla.

Playing an MM with inter, you what, i dont wanna jinx it yet, but im telling you those fucking crafty cunts at EA might have tweaked the gameplay without telling us, the shooting for one feels a tiny bit different, havent come across as many bannana crosses as of yet either.

How have you guys found the game since the updates? i went onto fifa soccer blog and looked at the reaction to the october updates and a think a few people felt there was difference in the gameplay ever so slightly, even tho ea say there are no major gampeplay updates coming out.

They haven't touched the gameplay. It's all in your mind. I still see "banana" crosses as you describe them, and in fact, three of them have gone in. Looped over the top of my GK's head. :(

There's ANOTHER patch on the way soon though. Not gameplay related once again, but to fix the -£2bn and tactic bugs in MM.

Fuck............maybe its because im inter, ive just kept 5 clean sheets in a row, that just wasnt possible before.

What hilarious is the scripting, thats now the talk of the forums, i was talking about this from day one, it can be atrocious, neally on pes 2008 levels.

Will see how it goes, the bannaa crosses are still there, but before i got this update it was just INSANE, every cross from the CPU was bannana cross, also, the shooting feels different, but maybe its cos I havent played it in a while.

Gonna put PES 2010 in for a laugh, man that game is pure shite. You played it? hahaha

Scripting isn't really the word to use. It suggests that when the AI have the ball, they're going to score no matter what you do. I don't think that's the case.

Sure, when they're pinging it around and keeping you away from the ball, it can appear as though they're delaying the inevitable, but I found the barrage of attacks harder to defend in 09 than I do in 10.

I heard one of the devs said that there's no "scripting" but something called a "chance algorithm" in the game, so that there's no set way to score from a certain place on the pitch twice. Whether it works 100% of the time I don't know, but I've certainly felt that, especially playing online, I've had bags of chances to score and the oppo's GK has been inexplicaly god-like, saving everything I throw at him, only for them to go up the other end and score a one-on-one like I would any other time. :/

EDIT: And yes, I have PES. My good mate dougie (the blogger here) sent it to me. :)

I had a game of pes 2010, actually, was slighty better than my other expliots, the game updated before i played it so im not sure if there are updates available. i played with inter vs sevilla on top player, game feels easy, and i could murder the defence with eto. I can see why someone who doesnt consider fifa on option would like this game, apparently the master league is brilliant. But for me the core gameplay is a huge factor and I put fifa 10 back in the xbox for a game.

You know what, i honestly think that the indviduality in PES is overrated greatly, i was sprinting past people with stankovic and anyone who knows inter knows stankovic cant do that, I also think the individuality has improved slightly in fifa 10.

I think both PES and Fifa are pish this year, only reason I usually get PES is cos I get it on PC for the amount of customisation I can do. Fifa just feels too much like last year to me and I didn't like last years. They make a big deal about the jostling system... but to me that makes every game feel like it's a scrappy Lower league fixture. PES is still too fast to play, more fluid than Fifa perhaps, certainly more enjoyable with mates, but still no real advancement. The japanese must be happy with it every year so we can't really expect a huge change since that is Konami's main market. I'm disappointed with both efforts this year and feel indifferent towards football games now cos they keep trying to make them more real... they can't. The point of football is that it can be unpredictable try coding that into a games programming. Better off playing real football this year, oh and Sevilla have a pish defence but only on Regular, on top player even Fulham are tough to break down so you must have been playing on regular... admit it... go on;)

I actually agree with alot of what you say, have you tied fifa on consoles tho?

Apart from the end bit, ive havent played much of pes2010 at all, but from what ive have played, its not difficult played i played sevilla on top player and i was crap because the ive been playing fifa since fifa 09, that game doesnt seem hard to me. To me, fifa is more challenging, PES2010 you just ping it about run and shoot. I only won 2-1 anyways, but i dominated, and if could actually be bothered to learn the controls again, i would have destroyed the CPU, pes is just pick up and play to me, no disrespect but playing that after playing semi manual-world class on fifa aint all that.

Im sure ive beaten top teams on it as well, to me, the game isnt that difficult, this is because they have clearly toned down the AI cheating, that was the only thing that made pes difficult anyways.

PS. dude on pes 4 ML, i went about 4 seasons without losing a league game lmao, pes is in my blood... well until about 2008.

Waiting....
The game keeps freezing when I'm about to play an international match (in Be A Pro). So annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?

*RETIRED*
Satisfaction.

Playing as Milan I beat a Real Madrid Ronaldo-whore 8-0. To make it worse for him, Ambrosini got two of my goals with efforts from the edge of the area.

Every single time he gave the ball to Ronaldo he just wanted to do tricks so I waited with Oddo (LB) while Pirlo (LM) pressured him and every single time one of them got the ball of him. I worked that out the moment he took kick-off and Ronaldo lost the ball to Ronaldinho as he'd tried to run straight through my Brazilian wonder.

Pirlo 3, Ramos sent off 13, Ambrosini 17, Ronaldinho 42, Huntelaar 45, Pato 56, Huntelaar 69, Huntelaar 73, Ambrosini 82.

:smug:

Makes up for the game I lost 1-0 to Chelsea earlier when I should've been 7-0 up before he scored in the 80th minute. It was his first chance whilst I'd somehow put every chance just past the post when normally 75% of those types of shots go in.
