Yeah, that's also something i'd like to be advised on. Just played my last few games of Fifa 11. Beat Barca as Leeds and Chelsea as Cardiff. Always good to smash people who pick the best teams, do fancy tricks and flicks around the half way line but it all counts for nothing, it's the result in the end, so just because i can't do 360 spins or flicks over my head doesn't mean i'm a shitter player than them!

I like the challenges thing which seems to be similar to the World Cup scenarios but not quite as complex. Judging by the countdown I remember from last night when I was doing the Dortmund challenge, there will be a new one every 24 hours. Can anyone confirm/disprove this?

The defending is a nightmare when playing against the CPU as it seems impossible to get close to their midfield. I've got Aldershot twisting, turning, playing 10 yard passes around the midfield while Anderson, Cleverley, Nani and Young are running around like headless chickens. It's worse in the box because you don't want to get too close to the attacker in case you slightly mistime your regular tackle and give away a pen. It works a lot better when playing against another human.

I've just started up Fifa and for some reason the CPU is in control of my arena player and I can't seem to take control myself. :unsure: Any ideas on what I need to do?

I started a career mode with them.

Adam Rooney is a fucking beast, Marlon King is total shite, Burke is class, Dave is pretty good, Davies is brilliant, Myhill is shocking, Zigic is very very useful lol.

Pretty good overall i'd say.

Also, i'll be on at about half 9, so pretty soon, if anyone wants to start playing clubs (if you haven't done so already of course).

Is it just me that doesn't have a problem with defending? It's attacking where I fall short man. Beating players is fucking hard.

What do you lot find to be the best way of building your CAP up? I'm at 72 atm, having completed all arena accomplishments. Playing as a RF for Barca in the Copa Del Rey atm, trying to work on my passing/crossing.

I put some more time in this game and I'm starting to like it.
Tactical defending makes a lot more of sense now.
The whole gameplay is built around it. That's why when you switch to legacy the game feels so shitty.

I was speaking to Berry about this on Facebook but when I'm playing Live season during a game when I go to make a substitute I only get to choose from 3. At the start of the match I have 5 on the bench. What is this?
