I wish you luck, man.
BarnDoor! I got the game yesterday! It's amazing! I had the demo on triple buffering, but when i was testing the game, and when i use anisotropic filtering i can use Shader 2 with very little performance issues. This means that i can check bloom, reflections and medium shadows!
It still is a little jittery, so i'm going to need more RAM but the prices of RAM have doubled. Someone please put me out of my misery!
Hahaha (i'm so giddy!). You're right about the diplomacy issue. I am playing as the English, because i'm a fan of the Long Bow, and the French decided to attack me at some point. So i retaliated in full, blockading the Bordeaux harbour and annihilating their invading forces. Then, the Pope asked us both to stop hostilities for seven turns, or face excommunication, and the fools attacked me, so the Pope gave us his blessing and told us to kill them all because they were Christians no more...That was pretty gay. In other aspects, diplomacy is better though, as they try to get better deals, so you can actually go back and forth until you reach an agreement.
What did you do with the Scots? I married one of my Princesses to their heir and forged an alliance with them.
I could sit here for hours, detailing my first impressions, that's how good this game is!
