Yeah, that is the main problem I guess. I tried a few games and I got the quit message thing. Then when I put in Smackdown vs Raw 2010, it got to a stage where it was tying to re-install the trophies, but it just sticks at 10%.

I haven't touched my PS3. Should I leave it turned off or should I (try and) turn it on to see if mine's been infected or not?

I have the fat 60gb model. Had this same PS3 since Release Year.

i have a big fat old ps3 too
i love it better then the new one.

anyway i have been affected too. my latest ml game save says 1/1/2000. does this mean im gonna lose this game save does it????
and what actually happens with this error??? cos i dont play online but will it affect me any other ways

and whats happening wirth it being fixed. am i going to have to go online or will sony make some way of fixing it etc???

any help would be good?? and should i stay off the ps3 for now???

Read back in the thread. All articles/posts made about it are above/on the previous page.

Basically, you won't be able to play any game that supports trophies until it's fixed, whether you're connected to the internet or not.

Which model do you have? 60gb? 80gb?

And yeah, not all the PS3's in the world have been affected, but the majority of them have. I'm not going to turn my PS3 on (it is a fat 60gb after all)

It's on the BBC News and Sky News websites now.

As long as I'm not the only one and its a problem throughout the world than thats Okay. Hopefully things are resolved by the end of today...
