Swearing: Persistent Aggressive/Unecessary Swearing:
- First offence: Booking
- Further offences: 24 Hour Ban

Swearing: in thread titles
- First offence: Booking
- Further offences: 24 Hour Bans

Swearing: at administrators/moderators
- First offence: 24 Hour Ban
- Further offences: Week

Racism/Discrimination
- First offence: 48 Hour Ban
- Further offences: Week/Month/Year/Permanent

Posting [Linking to] unsuitable material
- First offence: 48 Hour Ban
- Further offences: Week/Month/Year/Permanent

Persistant offenders risk further sanctions.

These are guidelines, they will normally be followed however in exceptional circumstances sanctions may be reduced or increased as necessary. If you receive any of the above sanctions in line with the above offences do not complain, else you risk furthering your sentence.

This is not an exhaustive list of offences, but some of the more common.

Cheers Original, these are all pretty standard and should be followed by all, on a side note though are ye taking this vigourasly or at yere own discretion. ie, if someone blatently posts a link to porn site or something along them lines then they could get a longer ban or if someone does it by mistake they might not get as harsh a sentence or are the rules now in Stone?

Also, say Barn and I were discussing something in a jovial manner and we referred to eachother in lighthearted fashion as a snatch or bearded pissflap, would we be yellow carded even though we weren't insulting anyone and between us, it doesn't really count anyway.

But what I want to know is this - what constitutes as a swear word? Say, for example, if I called Jonno an axe wound in a malicious tone, would that be yellow card worthy?

Swearing is allowed, swearing at other members is not. It will from now be enforced.For example:

Acceptable: "That film is fucking dire."
Unacceptable: "That film is dire, you fucking twat."

Take note.

We've been discussing that. At least three hours is what we appear to have settled on and if that changes we'll let everyone know. For the sake of clarity: 2 hourrs and 59 minutes is a booking.

If in a second post, as I've seen previously, someone actually posts "sorry please delete" or something similar, we'll delete the second message and take no action. I know for a fact I've done that on five or six occasions in the last few months.
