aaah yes,the inventory looked well strange to me first few times i saw it 2,loads of lil Shit pictures of the items. But it was well worth it.

Bethesda are sneaky ones,in the case of the game,u get a A3 map.To help u on ure travels. Now,exploring was(for me) the best thing in the game.around the edge of the main island there were some quite large islands tto the northe east and pretty much all over.

I found a island to the very south, quite far into the sea, which isnt even in the ingame map or the printed one.As u swam up to the island there was nothing on it.On the south side of it,UNDERWATER,carved into thefoundations of the island was a door!!
With a lock which was the hardest in the game to unlock,it then sent u on a massive undrwater maze, only with small areas wth air for breathing.
When u gotto the end of it,there was another lock, this time when opend, this door was for a square room with nothing but a bookcase.Inside?????

100% fire resisant armor!!!!!!!!!!
The final boss of the game only used fire!!!!!!!!

There were hundreds of thing like this!!!!And thats on morrowind think of obvlivion:):):):):):)

Maybe, but morrowind isnt about just finishingthe mai quest!!
did u know u can arrange to have your own little city built at one point???
Also customizing weopons and armor was so rewarding with high lvl chars.
I had a helmet which i could jump from balmora to vivec in 3 jumps:p:p
and anyway that 8 minutes, dosnt involve all quests for all the guilds, which in fact i think is better than the main quest!!!!!

Yeah true i see what ure sayin mate, but id say 99% of people atcually probably 100% poeple,on there first play took hours and hours.Even the bloke who done that video.Because u r new u take ages and would never complete the game in that time.He does no quests,he just does it indirectly.a new player follows the quest system!! but anyway u have a good pc to play oblivion man?

Yep, got an XFX GeForce 7800GT, 2GB of Corsair Value Select RAM, AthlonXP 3500 (running at either 2.2Ghz or 2.4Ghz, can't remember which) which is supposedly fine to run the game on maximum settings. The only possible weak link is the processor (they recommended 3Ghz Pentium processors or equivalent which for Athlon's I hear is more like 2.2/2.4Ghz due to how instructions are completed).

They've confirmed the shipping date as March 20 with a March 21 release dated touted across the US. They always release games on a Tuesday over there whilst it is always Friday over here, and the 24th has been the day slated by online retailers in the UK for the last couple of months.

There won't be a demo to Oblivion (or were you talking about The Godfather?)
i was talking about oblivion.
i thought we'd get a demo on xbox marketplace, they ussually put up demos for most games.

But how would a demo work in a game like Oblivion? It would be hard to work out which areas to include considering its such an open game. Perhaps there will be a demo, but it seems far too much work just to put a demo together.

Triple post :(

PC Gamer had exclusive worldwide rights to the first review of Oblivion and I've so far read one-and-a-half of the seven(?) pages of that review. The fight sequences which are being described sound incredible, as do the mannerisms of people although at the end one of their general points about the game (which I read first) was that there wasn't a huge overhaul of the AI. Interesting to note considering how much previews were going on and on about NPCs AI day cycles. We shall see, but it seems excellent so far.

Gamespot are playing it for 12 hours on Monday so should post a review on Tuesday, the same day as its release in the US.

Some good sounds coming from them I hear, makes me want to play it even more. But then again, maybe they have to write positive because they get the early review? :ninja:

They gave it 93% overall...an indication that it isn't quite perfect.

I'm expecting positive reviews from Gamespot and IGN too. I've got it (hopefully) arriving on my doorstep on Friday....and I've got the day booked off :ninja: <-- that's my character

This game is the bomb, I've been playing it all day since 10:30 and it is quality. I am a green dark elf on mine with blond hair and let me tell you he is one violent elf.
