lol okay fair enough. I was thinking of that Cult, the Mythic Dawn or something. I had to go in there to get the Amulet of Kings (which they get away with but you find an important book or something). But before i went beserk on all their skinny asses, i had to speak to some guy, there was a choice where i could give them all my possesions and join them, or i could persistantly smash his head with my Warhammer, bust on through his crap door and play skittles with their crews heads. I wondered how different the game would be if i joined them, or whether or not i eventually had the chance to leave their crew and get all my weapons back. But they did Deadric magic, so i presumed you were them.

So what do you actually do as an assassin? Just guild quests, or do you have a story line?

Some guild quests - Dark Brotherhood in particular - and lots of side quests. I'm going to create a necromancer too, again a daedra-worshipper. I'm not a fan of the Mythic Dawn, basically because their robes provide no sort of protection. Idiots.

Yeh, but they sometimes cunjure up magical armour and strength, and suddenly a room full of pussies turns into a room full of angry devils with daggers constantly battering you into a corner. Then they can get quite tricky. But they still don't really cause much trouble.

Once you complete all the quests you don't feel like playing it again, which I've done. Now it sits redundant.

I know, I got no idea what to do :ninja:

I got out of the sewers, then got to the Imperial City but what do I do there? Where do I deliver that amulet?

Look at your map. There is a location north-west of the Imperial City at which you can deliver the amulet - but you don't need to do it. I forgot the name of the place, its in the quest text though if you look at it. I talked to everyone in the town, got quests and went on my merry way walking around finding caves and going into them.

What a brilliant game! Been walking around for ages now, just to enjoy the view! Was out to get Martin, but then had to go through the Oblivion gate and then my game crashed

There is a nice area to the extreme south-east, some dark/black forest or something where I don't think there is any daylight. Perfect place for a necromancer to spend his days.

No it isn't  you only need to go to a temple in one of the major cities and use the altar.

I really like this game. Decided to buy it and it's a first (this type of game) for me. Anyway, I need a bit of help.

What's the hidden message that I'm supposed to find in the Mythic Dawn Commentaries? I've collected all 4. I can’t be bothered to read them.

How do I get into Thieves Guild? I never got the diary but there's another way, isn't there? I have to go to the Garden of Dareloth, I think, not sure where that is however.

I think you are supposed to talk to this guy at the Arcane University, he then reads them and asks you to come back the next day.

It's somewhere near the Imperial City Waterfront, try setting it as your active quest so you can follow the Green/Red marker. You have to steal a sword this time, but don't worry because the other guy won't steal it in 15 years.Just return to the place where you got the Quest for the diary and talk to the guy at midnight.

When I got infected during a vampire quest, I went to the temple in err...a city but can't remember which one...touched the altar and was cured.

The best way to get in the thieves' guild is what I did:

Follow the female when you're given the diary quest, knock her out once she's stolen it, take it from her body and then return it to Armand Christophe yourself. Genius.
