I downloaded the update of pes2009 (ps3), but the option file doesn't work... There is a message when the game starts: Load failed because is from a different version... etc
Do yoy have any idea what is happening and how I can solve the problem?

Hi,

You'll have to go into the game (PES2009) and run a manual download. After it has downloaded:

• Install the file you have just downloaded(accept all default settings)
  
• The system will then prompt you to save to your settings, select NO.
  
• Then exit to the main menu and select Edit>Load

This will then load the OF and once it has been done, you'll be able to play with Von's OF!!!

Lets do it by numbers

1. load game and update version when prompted........... done

2. go to game settings.... now you have a new section called "Download"

3. Select "download" and continue as requested. (may take a while i.e 30mins to complete)

4. when download is completed you will be prompted to save "yes" or "no"...select "no"

5. now exit game settings section and select edit section

6. select "Load" and load up your file that you previously couldn't due to "wrong version/data" and now you will find it is compatable

7. enjoy a new world of pes2009

Thanx my brother, I did something similar and I think everything is ok know. I downloaded and istalled the update, after that I copy-paste one more time from the usb the system file and I think this works fine

yh i was just gonna do some updates in the meantime and had to recall all this info so thought i would share incase it helped altho i never thought abouth th enext konami update doing all this anyway just want it to roll round quickly so i can really start my masterleague and am really tempted to make several championship teams to make masterleague more realistic....altho i find it soooo annoying that u can no longer use the a.b.c teams in the masterleague or BAL how stpuid is that fo gawds sake..

ok manual download worked, now one problem, the kits, ok for example chelsea, has the bue with white collar, but no emblem, sponsor and so on, i go into the edit thing, and theres only 2 of the kits to put onto the chest :|

tried many things.

The last option file i have on my PS3 is 1.05 (i skipped 1.06 as it didn't have anything i deemed necessary for me at the time). Can i now jump straight to the version 2.0 update, or the upcoming release at the end of the transfer window, or do i need to download and install 1.06 update first?

Also where do i download just the 1.06 update to get my file up to date before applying the 2.0 update. The previous updates downloads only seem to contain the full files with every kit etc (which take an age to apply), is there a link for the 1.06 update only anywhere??

I was like shit ... completed transfers before January ... OMGZ .. I need to download the updates.


So looking forward to the Jan transfer period ending to see who is leaving or going.

Thanks Ollie Is there no way i could just download and install the 1.06 update from somewhere though, rather than the full version? I was fully up to date (to 1.05) before this you see, and as i say it takes an age to apply the full update & is quite tedious (copying each file individually, i assume there's no way of doing them all at once??)
