^I get what you're saying and I totally agree with that, however, there are ways around the weight class part. You can choose a weight class and then modify the body to get the look that you want. But yeah, I agree that weight and height should be in 2 categories.

But I was commenting on the artistic side of things. You get much better looking caws with well thought and placed paint tools and your caws do look better in general compared to other SVR games. You can make your own tights and boots the way you like and there are many possibilities with the paint tool.

It seems like a win some, loose some situation and it shouldn't be the case. But in my view, based on the artistic side of caws, the WWE 12 editor is better.

I've never played Universe Mode before, so I might as well ask just what it's all about and how I should approach it.

I understand it's a year long mode, with several weekly shows and PPVs etc. But that's about all I know really.

It's just like exhibition with storylines that can happen at anytime. When you go into Edit Superstar, you see superstar allies and rivals (you can edit them too). You feud with your rivals and sometimes you ally will help you or even turn on you.

Every show you get a matchcard to wrestle. You can edit them, but I think keeping the matchcard the CPU generates gives more chance of a storyline occurring.

Now some shows you will see "Remakable Match". This means that it is a storyline continuation (or the beginning of one) and a cut scene will definitely occur before, during or after the match.

Basically, just approach it with what you want to see.

How do I adjust the roster beforehand?

I don't really want the likes of Vader wrestling Zack Ryder.

Thanks for the help too.

Universe -> Edit Superstars -> Choose a superstar -> Select brand they are apart of (top left corner).

That's the only way you can sort things. Would be better if you could do it by divisions as well.

Spent ages setting mine up. First Superstars show I have Jake Roberts v Brian Knobbs, Sags interferes at the start of the match, turns on Knobbs. At the end of the match, Sags and Doink are looking on from the stage at Jake after he won, like they want to form a stable with him.

Also, I had Savage squash Skinner. After the match, Savage offers to shake hands, Skinner slaps it away but then says he's embraced the WWE Universe and is a fan favourite.

The mode still needs a lot of work but it's still young.

I downloaded them. I dunno, it's that sort of era I'm working with. Plus I have an awesome Jimmy Hart caw that goes great with them.

Have quite a few tag teams. With LOD and Demolition already in, I've got Nasties, Natural Disasters, Steiners, Money.Inc, Beverly Brothers, Colossal Connection. Plus I needed a tag team on the WCW side so the Nasty Boys went there.

What's the CAW library like online? Is it everyone you could ever think of and his brother, or is it a little thin?

I'd say it's quite varied, the only problem right now is trying to access online. Since the patch, online access is now worse, so you're just kicked out of 'searches' nearly half the time.

As for what people have made though, there's some good stuff on there.

If you know where to look, there's some awesome work. Nearly everything from 80's-present.

Looks like a new 'pack' of sorts will be released on the 21st of this month. The Rock will be available for download - for those who didn't pre-order or pick up the edition with The Rock playable from the start. But also, it seems as if there may be an alternate attire for Randy Savage. Here's a picture that WWE Games just tweeted:

I am probably going to get this. I'm easily led, the gameplay was always passable in SVR games and the modern graphics will probably be enough. Aslong as you can have custom music and shit so you can put whoever you like in there, I'll probably enjoy it.

Should be back in PS3 world in the next week.

No, that picture is for the upcoming re-release of Wrestlefest, though I'm hearing it's only on iPhone/iPad and not XBL and PSN, which is a joke.

Matt, the game is pretty cool when you have it set up the way you want. It just hasn't lived up to the hype though.

I'm not really a hype person. I like to think my expectations from video games are usually realistic, so I don't get disappointed very often. Most of the games people have said were 'disappointing' and 'didn't live up to the hype' I've invariably really enjoyed. Hope this will be the same.

Some of the CAW's are really quite impressive, I downloaded an excellent Shawn Michaels circa 1997 with alternative attires. The work that had gone into building the face must have taken him/her hours.

I'm finally getting to grips with the game, I beat the hell out of Sheamus earlier, reversed his finisher which took me by surprise but still lost. I couldn't work out how to drag him into the centre of the ring to pin him and the bastard nailed me with a Celtic Cross. I'd already kicked out of one pin, I wasn't getting out of a second.

That was the other question I had, are the finishes realistic? It always used to piss me off when I hit four finishers in a row on someone and they kicked out, and then they pinned me after some shitty move.

Yeah pretty much. My CAW focuses on bludgeoning the skull of the opponent so when I come to hit him with my finisher he's too fucked to kick out. You need to focus on an area and mete out the punishment. I battered Sheamus to the point where he would stand in the middle of the ring swaying. I only lost due to my own stupidity. I had him beat.
