lol chill out man if u read my comment properly i already aknowledged the fact that it wasnt that much of a big deal by saying ''i know its a petty thing to say'' n all i was saying was that the option was there in the ps2 versions of pes so whats the point in taking it out of the next gen versions.
jeez u really should learn to read everything properly before u start replying back to comments.

it wudnt bother me so much if untucked shirts had never been an option in any pes games coz i would be used to it by now but its jus annoying to know that it was there in the older ps2 games and that was last gen. now you would think that this being next gen they would want the game to have more of a next gen look. thats all. listen man its not worth an argument over its jus my opinion.

Konami will loss the war to EA very soon if Konami don't change. I have been playing Winning Eleven series for 10 years. This(WE2009) is the first time we really hate it.
I believe Konami will change. We will see in their next version, if all those stupid problems still exist.

betrayal is a little too dramatic don't you think? perhaps for your own good you could think that it brought you enlightenment towards fifa, that way everyone is happy.
by the way don't expect to receive an award for playing WE for 10 years. most WE gamers have been playing for that long. Instead you should be grateful for WE since it provided you the only true football gaming experience, and by that I mean the ONLY one.

When I was talking about the ONLY game I was referring to the times you were playing during those past 10 years, when it was the only game that provided any decent footballing experience. I was clearly stating the argument that you should not discredit Konami's great contribution to football gaming just because the current version of the game is not to YOUR liking.

I guess threads become stupid and a waste of time as soon as you lose out on arguments. But they are not a waste of time when you post emotional and illogical comments such as "konami has betrayed us" in many different posts.
I certainly wish you well too and I hope you're not taking it personal. I was just trying to highlight that I am among many who really like the game.

I dont see the problem with this thread at all, many of the people who played ISS Pro from day one are pretty pissed of with Konami's recent efforts and to be honest, Pro evo needs people to criticize the game, its the only chance you guys have the finally someone might take a bit of notice and make a proper next generation game.
Of course then you have these other people, who will make you believe PES 2009 heals the sick, cures sexual dysfunction and even solve the current global economic crisis.
When PES 2010 comes out and Konami release the same old tripe again, guess who will be the fastest to waste their hard earned money on it?

i just find it funny how konami have taken so much away from the game i.e. edit mode and key gameplay aspects even though they've been given a vastly superior consol to make it on. At the very least they should of kept the same things they had that worked but they havnt. They've taken the good out of the game and replaced it with tripe.
I miss shooting from pes 6 and especially 5. Back on those games you actually had to use the power bar to get the power right whereas today all you have to do is tap it. Anything more an a tap from anywhere on the pitchat whatever angle and the shot will enter the outer atmosphere. I think the power bar should have more importance. I remember on pes 5 and 6 (ps2) That you used to see hundreds of different shots and goals on a regular basis and you score screamers which would make you leap of whatever you were sitting on but pes has lost that feeling. Now when i score it feels manafactured. Its like you can score whenever you really want to score because there are certain attacks etc that you no will get you a goal like cutting in from the wings etc which is 1 of the major gameplay faults recently.
I feel like pes 4,5 and 6 really played intuitively and i saw much variety in the way games played out. What made me fall in love with pes was the unreliability of where the ball would go. For example the ball used to ping about everywhere and when taking shot the ball could ping off the goalies knee or a shot might get tipped onto the crossbar but now everything that happens is terribly scripted and almost looks manafactured.
Shooting is my main fault with the new editions. Its like if you not in a perfect position it wont ever go in but thats what made the ps2 days good because of the unpredictibility in each shot was encapsulating. like every shot i take even when its a screamer just feels crap because i didnt feel like i used great skill to score it by getting the power bar perfect. If i was about to fall over and managed to get away a shot as i was coming down with a toe poke or i took a long ranger off balence and it dipped over the keeper then that would be great but you get 0% unpredictibility in the new pes's. Every scoring situation you can see coming and with every shot you know wether you are in the right position to score which is stupid because then that makes you repatidly do the same things over and over to get goals where it should be completely opposit to that. dude with earlier versions its so easy after a while to score from middle of the field. so those games had weaknesses too. so like any game after playing so many hours it's just that we got used to them.

sell the game or take it to the park and find a nice spot to bury it. say some prayers and bring flowers every year. it might give you closure.
