I did play a PS2 game on the PS3 once because a friend of mine insisted he had to play that. Other than that I never did that again. I do find the slim version interesting as my Playstation, as well as other 5 of them, are moved around quite a lot, so the slim version offers a very versatile way to that.

With this new ps3 slim it looks like the competition won't be able to stop the inevitable that is Sony sky rocketing holiday sales this year. Truth be told this the best gaming deal right now. Lets see, in that box comes with a ps3 equipped with blue-ray player, 120 gig HD, built-in wifi, it consumes 34% less power for the green energy saving geeks, and you have free online gaming to top it all of just for $299. Microsoft will have to counter this move to stay competitive these Holidays.

So yesterday my PS3 gave up reading discs i've been on forums and tried everything to see if i can sort the problem out. Looks like i'll have to contact Sony and find my receipt does anyone know how you can get this sorted. If i find my receipt i know it's past it's warranty will Sony still atleast sort out the problem which is the laser ?

I'm pretty raging though and i'll let Sony know about it. I waited patiently for the PS3 and kept my loyalty if they do fuck all i'll be getting an 360 for spite.

Its outta warrenty, gonna cost ya around 70 to 80 quid i think, but do give 'em call and try to sort something out.
