I asked fivelive (via Facebook) earlier today if they'd be talking about the PS3 situation tonight, which they have done. The moment I realised my PS3 was working, I posted a message on there, telling them about the situation. I received a PM two minutes later asking me to go on the show to talk about it. Not gonna happen.

Although, they'd better give me a fucking mention soon... :shifty:

My limited edition fat 160 GB non PS2 version was working fine today although I haven't actually played it in ages. My brother said that barely anybody was online on COD and the people that were had a terrible connection.

So, is the error fixed for everyone by now?
I am not sure weather I want to try to turn my ps3 on and realize that the error is still there.

Yep. Mine is ok too. And I didn't loose anything.
Load up the game that it's trophies disappeared, then restart your ps3 and your trophies should be there. I though I lost all my MW2 trophies (had special ops done on veteran), but after I did that, it's now same as before. Good job sony for fixing it without any regrets or losses.

They didn't fix anything! The system date moved from February 29, 2010 (doesn't exist) to March 1, 2010 (a valid date) so everything is working again. Sony did nothing.

Anyone looking to get the new FF? I havent bought one since ten but it seems to be a good investment, with it being generally quite long.

The advert I saw for it looks awesome. I'm quite new to Playstation but fancy getting. But I'm also after GTA4, Metak Gear Solid, Killzone and Mirrors Edge.

I havent heard great things about Final Fantasy 13 tbh, the main negative comments are the linearity of the game up until the 30 hour mark, and lack of exploration.

I have just come out of Crisis Core : Final Fantasy 7 on the psp, and the linearity of that game never caused me any problems, so i'm thinking I might really enjoy it. However, a certain FF7 needs to be played through first as seeing the end of CC (the cause of a couple of manly tears) has made me finally want to finish FF7.

alrighty lads. My cousin's ps3 seems to have abit of a problem and i was wondering if any you have any suggestions

He says the red light keeps flashing and goes off, i think he said he can play for abit then cuts off.

i told hiim to make sure all the connections are right etc. Where would one send a ps3 to repair it and how much would it cost ?
