Cookie hows it going anyway, mate?

Still recovering after that K.O. :(
I've given it some thought and I'm going to blame my poor performance on the excessive lag I was experiencing. ;)

I don't get it. You shit on someone, get them rocked, but one submission and they win. It's really frustrating.

I almost got caught like that a few times because I forget to keep an eye on my stamina. Its never happened though, luckily. Who did your opponent pick?

I don't remember, but I don't have my stamina gauge on. Maybe I should.

EDIT: I'm online now, if you have time for a rematch. I'm still shit, but eager. :faceplm:

Aye, I didnt have my gauge on in the first few fights but eventually turned it on and its possibly saved me in many-a-fight.

I might but Im not 100% sure. One of my mates is landing here shortly and I might be going out or playin Pro with him. Ill invite you if I am available though. Im still not the best but Im coming along well.

I doubt it would make an difference, to be frank. I can't see myself getting to grip with the game. I'm just not taking anything in. It's really frustrating.

BELIEVE
Just in case anyone's interested, there are 3 hidden fighters, they're the founders of Tapout, here's how to unlock the Tapout crew:

Mask (R.I.P.) - win 3 career mode fights via submission (might be consecutive wins, not totally sure).
Punkass - earn the Tapout sponsorship in career mode.
Skyskrape - enter the following code on the title screen - up,up,up,down, left, right,up,start.

I've only unlocked Skyscrape so far, just had two fights with him on Exhibition. His overall rating is 77 so it's quite an average rating thankfully - although I managed to knock out my opponent after just 1 minute, but in saying that I lost my second fight as I went to gung-ho trying to top my previous fight. :faceplm:

Enjoy though!

I already unlocked Mask and Skyscrape - Mask, without realising and Skyscrape about a couple of weeks ago. I thought they couldn't have fighters with long hair, or is Skyscrape's not long enough.

Don't know if it's been mentiond anywhere else, but it would appear there is to be a contender for UFC's crown... EA Sports MMA.

Due to contract issues, non of the UFC fighters would be likely to appear.

BELIEVE
Great seeing EA suffering from lack of licensing, but hopefully they can create a decent bit of competition before ultimately obtaining the UFC brand and consequently destroying the game franchise as each year EA will dwindle out another half-arsed effort.

Contrast though, it could be quite like how Skate revolutionised the skating genre and knocked Tony Hawks off of the perch. We'll see.

I recently unlocked Punkass, but haven't had a look him yet.

I just finished my fourth career on Expert Light Weight, with a record of 30-5. Easily my best. The character's name was "El Toro" Ignacio Llalloventa. I'll let Miggy translate the surname. :ninja:

I wrapped up all of the Classic Fights yesterday, and I must say that I found the most difficult to be Anderson Silva vs Dan Henderson (2nd Round ~ Rear-Naked Choke), followed by Forrest Griffin vs Shogun Rua (3rd Round ~ Rear-Naked Choke). All in all I thought it was a brilliant feature, and one I wish they had expanded upon.

I completed my namesake fighters' career a few weeks ago, too. I was gutted to not make the Hall of Fame after tallying a record of 35-5-0 with a 20 fight win streak and 10 straight title defences, on top of retiring as the champion. The Lightweight division was my stomping grounds. My next fighter (whom I've yet to create) will either be a Heavyweight or a Light Heavyweight Wrestler, or a Welterweight Judo. I'll throw in either Boxing or Mauy Thai, as my previous fighter was Kickboxing (and BJJ).

Does anyone know what you have to do to be inducted in the hall of fame? A career undefeated?

I forgot to mention: I also made a UFC instruction video. I was hoping to actually do something, for it to be some sort of mini-game.

I've saw others (on the Undisputed forums) mention Credibility Rating as a deciding factor. But there have been those who had immensely high Cred only to also miss out on the Hall of Fame.

It could have something to do with the in-game career trophies. I missed out on a Submission of the Night, and didn't secure all that many Fight of the Night awards, either. Whether it's the matter of simply achieving them or if it's also the added Cred bonus that receiving them gives, I don't know.

I'm doing the career mode on ufc and I'm ranked 10th now but i can't seem to beat any of the guys ranked higher than me, they just keep taking me down and then punching me until i get knocked out.

I've increased my take down defence stats etc but still keep losing this way..is there any way of getting the cpu off when there on top or ways to stop them gettin on you in the first place?

This video helped me, no end. I would usually lose quite a fair few games because my ground game was rubbish, but I only lost 5 after watching the video and 4 of those was against Florian, who was champ at the time.

The problem I've found, though, when playing online, is that most people seem to be counter-attacking. I've played a few games with this new learned ability, where I've found myself and the opponent (on Live) just waiting to use reverse transitions. It just looks odd. I don't really play online much, any more.

I've encountered a new problem. Whenever I look for a match online, be it Ranked Match or Player Match, I can neither find a game nor host a game. It has happened two days straight. I cannot say when this problem originated as I took a self imposed hiatus from the game (due to online quitters and severe lag) for a number of weeks, and upon returning I found a fresh problem presenting itself.

:faceplm:

This game is fundamentally brilliant. The gameplay, the presentation, the graphics, the controls, etc, are all top notch, but the online flaws are slowly but surely driving it to an early grave.

I have a 2MB internet connection (soon to be 10MB) and I can play other games online quite easily. I play Rainbow Six Vegas 2 quite regularly, a game you'd expect would put more strain on that 2MB connection, yet it (Vegas 2) plays flawlessly no matter how many are in the game, nor how many enemies are on screen, nor how many bullets are flying and grenades exploding.

2MB may not be the best of the best but, it's good enough, so I doubt any sort of "Speeds below X&Y are exempt" rule should be catching me out. It cannot be anything to do with quiting (did not finish) as my record is flawless of such as I just don't do it. So I'm not sure what the problem could be, nor why it is affecting me but no other Undisputed players I know.

Anyone else came across this problem (or news of it) at all?

I eneded my career with a 36-5-0 record and was inducted into the Hall of Fame like, so undefeated or not, you can still get in there.

They do have to be consecutive submissions.

Has anyone got the "Roster Run-through" trophy?? I'm sure I've gone through them all but it hasn't give me the trophy!!

Also how do you have a ranked fight online with a friend??
