Been playing through L.A. Noire lately. It's not excellent, but some of the cases are quite interesting. You have very little freedom in this game, though, and it's a bit awkward at times. The facial graphics and body language in this game is interesting, and the story is better than expected.

Been back on PES 6 alot recently, if I was stuck on a desert island with this game I think I'd be okay.

Getting another PS3 soon though, what should be my staples?

Did you ever play Round 4, DF? If so, how does it compare?

I've never played Round 4 before. I've only played Round 3, which I thought was great. Champion's better in terms of fighter animation and fight realism, but I remember the career mode being better in Round 3.

My recent fighter was forced to retire because of "injury", which is false, but at 45, he was still quicker, fitter and stronger than most of the young boxers I faced. Whereas in Round 3, the fighter can barely move and breath in his forties and it becomes all about tactics.

In Champion, do you have all those sliders in the options menu to adjust the power/speed/stamina of the fighters to balance the realism? They were an awesome addition in 4.

I rarely play any games at all anymore, i just don't have the patience to sit there and play through a story mode like i used to. The one game that i am determined to complete is Dead Space 2 while using my headset on full volume , scarey as fuck.

Its CoD4 (still), Fifa 12 or nothing these days.

Finished with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Two playthroughs, the first was a stealthy, no kills run then I went all out second time around and gunned down everyone. I enjoyed convincing people that suicide wasn't the answer then shot them in the head anyway.

Next up is Monkey Island collection :w00t

Haha. You evil sod!

I've only actually played through it once. Did it stealthily, but found it a bit difficult not to actually killed anyone. I didn't do a 2nd playthrough. Initially I wanted to do an all guns blazing run through, but the trophy whore inside me wanted to go for the platinum and do a 0 kills run through, and also get the other trophies.
In the end, I did neither. Still have it on my shelf if I ever decide to go back to it.

EDIT: Talking about Deus Ex.... not Monkey Island obviously.
