A few screenies too.

I think I'm going to have to get my XBOX repaired post haste.

Great game, cant wait to get my dog but can anyone tell me if there is any other means of transport?

Unfortunately not. Once you've visited an area, you can fast travel to it though, but I usually avoided that as I preferred hunting the wastes for beasts and fiends.

Dan, I always aim to do the side missions and get sidetracked by Raiders, Ghouls and Radiated things. The only thing that has killed me (because I was on my way to get ammo) was that Scorpion thing.

I forget where it was now exactly but its personal.

I killed Dogmeat =[ came out of a metro station in DC and started looking round. Found the rileys rangers place and couldn't get in yet so decided to head back to the metro station. ALl of a suuden i hear an explosion; fucking Super mutants lobbing frag grenades!!

I pull out my missile launcher and take aim into the middle of a group of 4 mutants. What I didn't realise until after i shot my second missile was that dogmeat had ran up to take them on up close =[

The top left of the screen then showed *Critical hit on mutant* *critical hit on mutant brute* *Critical hit on dogmeat*. Then the dreaded, pop up box appeared.

I was sad, but then i went over and ate him.

Bethesda dropped a pre-E3 bombshell this morning with a slew of announcements surrounding Fallout 3. Chief amongst them are two new pieces of DLC that further expand the game and the fact that this new DLC along with previously released DLC will be finally coming to the PlayStation 3. Here’s how it shakes down:

Via Bethesda Press Release:

We are pleased to announce that Fallout 3 downloadable content (DLC) is coming to PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system. We have been working on implementing it for a while and look forward to bringing it to PS3 gamers via the PlayStation Network. Operation: Anchorage will be released for PS3 in late June, followed by the release of The Pitt and Broken Steel 4-6 weeks apart. Release dates will be forthcoming.

In addition, a new update will be released for PS3 that will allow users to download and play the new DLC. The release date for that update will be announced at a later date.

There are also two new DLCs planned for all three platforms:

Point Lookout – Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.

Mothership Zeta – The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.

Point Lookout will be available in late June for Xbox 360 and PC. Cost will be 800 points or $9.99. It will be available through Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live and through token cards available at retail. Point Lookout will be available on PS3 after the first three DLCs have been released.

Mothership Zeta is scheduled for release in late July for Xbox 360 and PC. Cost will be 800 points or $9.99. It will be available through Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live and through token cards available at retail. Mothership Zeta will be available on PS3 after Point Lookout.

Finally, new Fallout 3 products will be available at retail this year.

Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on May 26.

The Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 includes Broken Steel and Point Lookout on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC in August.

Retail versions of the game add-on packs for PS3 are not possible and the DLC will only be available for download online via PlayStation Network.

A Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be available in October. It will include the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $49.99 for PC.

Sounds awesome, very good news. I'll be getting all the DLC that is free, I'm sticking to my word and not spending a penny in the Store, but if I had my own debit then I'd more than likely buy stuff off it. :(

I'll go for the Game Of The Year Edition at about Christmas. Providing it comes out cheaper than buying all the DLC separately.

I just haven't had the time for this or bioshock. For some or other reason I'm sucked into PES 2009 BAL mode (I'm starting with my 3rd legend).
And with UFC coming on friday I dont see myself playing it for a while still.

Ahh I didn't realise they'd be bringing a GOTY edition out like Oblivion.

I'll probably wait for that aswell.

Sorry for the bump; anyone still playing this?

Haven't played it for a few weeks, but put it back in my 360 a few days ago and become engrossed again. Not to far from the end of the main storyline and done most of the side quests, about to hit lvl 20 as well anytime soon.

Doing a mission to get me into little lamplight. Decided to take Paradise Falls instead of getting access from the slavers. Was great cleaning up shop especially when this mad bitch came running at me with a chinese officers sword. She had a neck lock on, so i assumed she was a friendly so i was in shock for a split second. luckily, at that split second, her friend on the roof with the rocket launcher decided to target me, he missed and hit her, then she was gone. Great Stuff.

After taking Paradise Falls I then decided to walk to little lamplight as i havent really explored the NW/W pat of the map (so still got a few good hours of hunting and scavenging before I carry on). I came across an abandoned protectron on a road full of cars and debris. Took him out then sawa single bloatfly hovering and thought I may as well shoot the little bastard. Long story short, I shot three times, two hit a bus near me, one killed the bloatfly, just as I exited vats *BANG* there went my leg and right arm.

I love this game. Gonna download The Puitt and Broken Steel soon. Already finished operation anchorage (not nearly as shite as some people make it out to be, and the armour and weapons you get at the end of it are well worth it - Chinese Camoflage suit and Gauss Rifle make for the perfect killing machine.

That Point Lookout DLC looks awesome. Reminds me of the Hills Have Eyes or something. If only my 360 wasn't buggered.

Yeah, I want to get Point Lookout, but not until after I finish the main game, because otherwise I never will, i'll just keep getting distracted lol.

Ah I was playing it for ages when I got Broken Steel then I got stuck due to my save being in an awkward place surround by loads of Deathclaws.
