that's literally only just happened, it isn't always like that. Make sure you use IE when making it though, FireFox doesn't seem to be too compatible

Remember that video of the guy who took a shot at an empty goal, ran off to celebrate, only to realise the ball had stopped in the mud a couple of inches from the line? Well, it wasn't an empty goal, but I was one-on-one with the keeper, last five minutes of the game, I toe-poked it past the keeper. GOAL! Erm, actually no. Ball stopped on the line. :faceplm:

I too started a new one last night as Charlton in League One. I hope to earn a couple of trophies in doing so.
There's one where you have to gain two consecutive promotions with a team, so going from League One to the Premier League in two seasons will unlock that.
Another is to take a 2 star or less (Charlton are 2 star) rated team and make them into a 5 star team within 5 seasons. Shouldn't be too hard as long as I get the above trophy.
My Virtual Pro is rated around 69/70, so I've put him in the side as well in an attempt to get nearer the 100 accomplishments needed.
The last one I'm looking to earn is the "no simming" trophy. To be honest, I can't be arsed playing through the cup games in the first couple of seasons. The no simming trophy is something I may look at getting if I get as far as the Premier League. I've heard there's a bug with this trophy, with some people getting it and others not. I finished a full season in FIFA 09 and didn't get awarded the trophy, so the problem still exists at times it seems. One guy on the FIFA forums said he got the trophy after just 12 games in a season...so yeah, it's pretty random.

I'm not by any means a "trophy whore" but there are some games that would lose my attention quite quickly if it wasn't for the in-game "challenges" you're set by earning the trophies.
I think I have about 330 odd, but there's guys I've seen on forums with like 4000+ and 20+ platinums, which is crazy considering trophies are what...a year old?

Pisses me off when the game throws as many glitches as possible on a game you need to win and have hardly any chance at to begin with. A simple chested control somehow deflected like a ball does when it skims someones legs. Falls right into the path of a player one v one on my keeper. I rage'd.

The other day I was joining my brother for a game in his Manager Mode (he's Arsenal), he said that the computer always converts its free-kicks near the box and just two minutes after that, against Barnsley, some bald dingbat scores a cracker via a free-kick.

In fact. Fuck off. It is just as bad as PES09's. Replayed the same game, 2-0 lead, a stupendously curled cross and an AI controlled defender runs in the opposite direction. Van Persie unmarked one-on-one, what else do I need to say?
Then I pass to a team-mate in space and in a dangerous position. He performs a standing tackle on a manless ball, essentially toe-poking the ball back to the Arsenal player for a counter-attack.

Fucking hell. Simple ball to defend, player lets the ball roll under his foot. I'm starting to hate this game more and more. Call me a cheater for replaying the game a THIRD time, but it's obvious the game just doesn't want me to win.
I'm gonna have tourettes soon -.-
